PUPILS are really speaking up for their Stroud school.
Youngsters at Rosary Catholic Primary jumped at the chance to greet telephone callers to their site at Beeches Green
In fact so many of them wanted to be the voices on the school’s new answerphone system that auditions had to be held to chose those to make the recordings.
Children’s voices can now be heard in initial response when someone phones into school
Headteacher Rosy Savory said: “Children are at the heart of any school. To build their confidence we already ask children to show visitors around the school, so I thought it was a brilliant idea of our business manager Lesley Taylor to involve the children in this way.”
