ACTOR Rupert Grint, aka Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter films, helped Kick Start the Summer in Stroud.
The young star hung around at The Door Youth Project's mini Live Aid-style show at the town's Subscription Rooms.
"He went along to support his sister's act," said Harry Gardner, who is a fundraising apprentice at The Door charity in High Street.
"He was really down to earth and signed things. It was all very last minute."
Rupert's sister, singer Samantha Grint, joined Kick Start the Summer with her band The Ghost of Samantha.
But her group were just part of the quality entertainment laid on, all to raise money for The Door.
Duo Katie Smith and Harry Jones performed at the gig the day before they exited BBC One's The Voice in the battle round. They were among nine acts, many of which were already signed performers following various talent show appearances.
