YOU wouldn't blame staff at McDonald's if they had suspicious minds when The King rocked up in the drive-thru.

But that's exactly what happened when Stroud Elvis impersonator Joe Reeve turned up at the town's fast food outlet.

He filmed the hilarious stunt and the video has been going viral online.

Joe, 42, said: "I started the whole Elvis thing as a bit of fun when I worked in a pub. I did a gig and it snowballed."

The stay-at-home dad has a repertoire of up to 30 classics including Suspicious Minds and My Way.

"I have a gig coming up and thought it would be a fun way to promote it if Elvis turned up in some unusual places," said Joe.

"The staff at McDonald's were really professional. They just treated me like any other customer."

His next gig is at the Lansdown Hall on February 16 from 8pm. Tickets are £12.50, from the Trading Post in Kendrick Street.
